Position: General Manager, Malaysia Major Events
Tony Nagamaiah established Malaysia Major Events in July 2010 as part of Malaysia’s Economic Transformation Programme. His focus is on identifying and supporting international event bids such as sports, arts, culture and lifestyle events. He is also responsible for identifying, supporting and marketing home-grown events to achieve international stature.
Tony brings over 20 years of regional experience, including business development, media communications, as well as bidding, sponsorship and event management in both national and international markets. His experience includes senior management positions with Hill & Knowlton South East Asia, PIKOM, The National ICT Agency of Malaysia and Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific.
